Mom’s Homemade Guacamole

Ingredients
- 2-3 ripe avocados
- 1-2 tbsp lime juice
- ½ tomato, finely chopped (optional)
- 2 tbsp finely chopped white or red onion
- Salt, to taste (or use garlic salt)
- ¼ cup of cilantro, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
Mash avocado and lime juice with a fork. Fold in the tomato, cilantro, onion, and salt.
Dad’s Homemade Salsa

Ingredients
2 cans of stewed tomatoes (use Centos Marzano tomatoes if available)
1 can Rotel
2 tbsp of chopped onion, add to taste
Juice of 1 squeezed lime
Salt to taste
¼ cup of fresh cilantro, finely chopped
2 fresh diced tomatoes
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until combined.
Pico De Gallo

Ingredients
- 4 ripe tomatoes
- ½ cup chopped white onion
- 1 jalapeno, minced (optional) (remove the seeds and veins if you don’t like a lot of heat)
- ¼ cup cilantro, finely chopped
- Lime juice, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
As you chop each ingredient, add it to a medium bowl. Mix everything together when finished adding ingredients.
