5 Upgrades Your Kitchen Needs

When you think about a kitchen, you mostly just think of the basic necessities. It needs a sink, stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and maybe a dishwasher. Well a kitchen can be so much more than that! Here are my 5 most recommended appliances to get to upgrade your kitchen.

Toaster Oven

These are very convenient, and you will not regret buying one! A lot of my friends in Arizona love these because they don’t heat up the kitchen when you’re trying to bake something in the summer. They can cook an entire chicken, but can also be used like a microwave. It has multiple settings, and overall is a very useful tool in the kitchen.

Air Fryer

This appliance has become very popular over the last year or two. When you air fry food versus deep frying it in oil, it makes the food a lot healthier, less greasy, and more crispy. They also cook food faster than it would cook in the oven.

Pot Filler Faucet

We’ve had one of these since I was a kid, and I always thought they were so convenient. Instead of filling up your pot with a large amount of water and having to lug it across the kitchen to the stove, you can simply place your pot on the stove and fill your pot with water from the pot filler faucet above the stove.

Food Processor

You can make so many recipes with a food processor. One of my favorite recipes that can be made with this appliance is hummus. It makes slicing vegetables 100 times easier and almost instantly pulverizes bread and cookies into crumbs.

Salad Spinner

I honestly hate washing lettuce! I don’t know why it seems like such a chore to me, but you can quickly wash your lettuce and shake all the extra water off with a salad spinner. You can also use it for many other things, including draining beans and using it as a colander for pasta.
