Over-Ripening Bananas
To slow down the browning process of a bunch of bananas, stick a piece of plastic wrap around the stems of the bunch!
Aging Strawberries
Do you want to keep your strawberries fresh for longer? Soak them in vinegar, rinse, dry, and regrigerate them.
Wilting greens
One fantastic way to keep your lettuce nice and crisp is to put it in a glass container, cover with a paper towel, and wrap the entire thing with plastic wrap.
Grimy garbage disposal
Here’s a three-ingredient recipe for a homemade cleaning remedy made entirely of things you probably already have in your cabinets. Pour one cup of a baking soda, vinegar mix into the drain, and let it fizz up. Pour one cup of hot water on top of it. Rinse with the faucet, and that’s it!
Homemade disinfectant
Mix one part water, and one part vinegar in a spray bottle. Add citrus peels and shake. Then you’re ready to clean your home surfaces!
