Anyone who knows me knows that I love s’mores! It’s the perfect time to share my love of s’mores with the world because it’s the most wonderful time of the year. Many of my friends and even family members have questioned my love for the delicious gooey creation. I am crazy about sweets and s’mores are definitely in my top three of my favorite sugary treats. I’m the type of person who can eat s’mores all year long, I’ll even eat a s’more in Arizona’s 110-degree weather.
Part of why I love s’mores is its social value. Sitting around a nice toasty fire with all the people you care about and you’re roasting marshmallows. The wonderful smell that follows a perfectly toasted marshmallow makes me take a deep breath. The best part is when the person next to you becomes a great s’mores assistant and they begin to hold your graham crackers for you. If they are a really good assistant they have placed a piece of chocolate on the graham cracker. Making s’mores is not about the end product. It’s about the experience you get to have with the people who mean the most to you.
The experience of making s’mores is fantastic but the popularity of s’more flavoring means more people are enjoying s’mores. S’mores can be recreated in many different ways! You don’t always have to be by a fire to get that one-of-a-kind s’more taste. S’mores are such a fan favorite that many other companies have incorporated that s’more taste into their own products. Such as Goldfish, Pop Tarts, Oreos, Eggos and even Ben and Jerry’s. If you’re ever craving a s’more but aren’t by a fire go to your local grocery store and you’ll be sure to see these awesome products and get to taste the wonderful rewarding taste of s’more flavoring without having that Smokey fire smell all over your clothes!
