STUDY SHOWS CHEESE LOWERS THE RISK OF DIABETES

A new study found that people who eat cheese are 12 percent less likely to develop type 2 diabetes compared to those who rarely eat it, according to a recent study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. The study was one of the largest ever conducted that examined the influence of eating habits on a range of diseases. Additional research is needed to determine why cheese appears to lower the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.
