When Christmas time comes around, my mind is only focused on one thing: treats. Cakes, cookies, pies, you name it and I want to bake it… and then eat all of it by myself. Growing up I was told ‘sharing is caring’, however, so I bake and then share the tasty treats with my friends, family, and neighbors.
During this time of year I get invited to at least one cookie exchanging party, so my baking gets put to good use. I’m sure quite a few of you get asked to these kinds of parties, as well. This time around, show up with the best cookies you’ve ever made! The people you exchange with will be asking you for your recipe when you arrive with any of these delicious treats:
- Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Soft Molasses Cookies
- Chevre Truffles
- Eggnog Cookies
- Butterfinger Cookies
- Glazed Cinnamon Bars
- Neapolitan Holiday Cookies
- Grandma’s Soft Sugar Cookies
- Harvest Pumpkin Bars
- White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies
- Cake Mix Cookies
- Pumpkin Cake Cookies
- Millionaire Shortbread Cookies
- Christmas Mint Cookies
- Seven Layer Bars
- Welsh Cookies
- Wonderful Gingerbread Cookies
- Snickerdoodle Bars
- Yummy Nutmeg Donuts
Think outside the box! Don’t just bring plain chocolate chip cookies, bring the unexpected. For more holiday dessert recipes, visit the Fill Your Plate dessert section. If you’re still trying to figure out what to make for Christmas dinner, take a look at the main dish section of Fill Your Plate.
