A great way to kick off your holiday is with the color of the season and those colors are showcased at the Gardner’s World 25th Annual Poinsettia Festival and Craft Show in Phoenix.
The Festival runs weekends from 10 am to 5 pm daily December 3rd through December 5th and December 10th through December 12th. Admission is free and the event will be held at Gardner’s World, 3401 East Baseline Road in Phoenix.
The event is open to the public and all are welcome to come and view the more than 20,000 poinsettias in a myriad of colors, sizes and shapes. There will be self-guided tours where you can wander among the 45,000 square foot greenhouses that will be filled with the colors of the season. You’ll learn how poinsettias are grown and how to keep them beautiful in your home. Poinsettias will be available for purchase as well.
Make sure you bring your camera because with all of the flowers on display you may be inspired to take photos of the flowers to include in your Christmas cards.
The Poinsettia Festival also features spectacular Christmas displays, a holiday boutique, free wagon rides, and food available for purchase. On Saturday and Sunday there will be a kids area with Santa, Jumpers, Crafts, Face painting and more.
5% of festival poinsettia sales will go to benefit the Salvation Army Christmas dinner. There will be Salvation Army bins out to collect toys and monetary donations.
