Mortimer Family Farms is celebrating Fall with a huge Pumpkin Festival in October!
Mortimer Family Farms announces their Pumpkin Festival to include Pumpkins Picking, Fall Décor, Apple Cider, Hay Rides, Farm Animal Kingdom, Food & Craft Vendors, and Music for the whole family! Admission is free and the Pumpkin Festival weekends are October 15-16: Tractor Pull, October 22-23:Pumpkin Decorating, and October 29-30: Trick-or-Treating & Costume Competition.
Sharla Mortimer says: “The Pumpkins are ready! Families love to bring their children to the farm where they can pick their pumpkin straight from the vine! It is so much fun to see the kids run into the field ready to choose and take home their very own pumpkin! These are the memories that last forever!”
Since the Mortimer’s re-opened the farm in March 2011 they have offered sweet corn, fresh vegetables, school field trips, family activities and other events! The community response has been fantastic with many commenting on how they remember the past, when it was Young’s Farm, and how excited they are to bring their family to Mortimer Family Farms.
