Fun family events will make the 30th annual Arizona Agriculture Day event in Glendale a family must this spring. Held on Saturday, March 6 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Historic Sahuaro Ranch Park, 9802 N. 59th Avenue, in Glendale, Ariz., Arizona Agriculture Day is committed to increasing public awareness about Arizona agriculture.

Family Events
Family activities will include, animal displays, educational exhibits, kids crafts, hayrides and more. Other fun events will include a petting zoo, horses and cows, agriculture equipment displays, fun with fruits and veggies activity, make a cotton baby, tractor displays, and gardening tips.

The $1 Farmers’ Share Lunch
Lunch is just a buck, which represents the farmer and rancher’s share of the actual lunch cost. From 11:00 am to 1:30 p.m., enjoy a beef or pork wrap, coleslaw, beans, a hard boiled egg, vegetables, a honey stick plus fruit and milk (while supplies last).

Admission
Ages 12 and under: Free
Ages 13 and up: $2 or 3 cans of food for the local Food Bank.
Bring the whole family and your neighbors.
