We’re rolling into fall full swing! It will be an exciting learning environment for those Arizona students that get to participate in Arizona Farm Bureau’s Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC) program. Two of our biggest programs at the beginning of the school year involve lots of books, posters and cash prizes.
Ag Literacy Week
Arizona Farm Bureau Agriculture in the Classroom is celebrating fall with The Life Cycle of a Pumpkin Ag Literacy Week. Teachers can schedule the free 30-minute presentation from October 17th through October 28th. The presentation will include the story From Seed to Pumpkin and a hands-on pumpkin life cycle activity. The first 200 teachers to sign-up for the presentation will get to keep the book for their classroom library. Presentations are being offered for classrooms grades K-2 across the state.
For more information visit us on the web at www.azfb.org/aitc or to schedule your classroom presentation contact Katie Aikins at katieaikins@azfb.org or 480.635.3608.
