The 7th Annual Phoenix Cooks! is a colorful landscape of ingredients, products, talents and passions designed to intrigue the palette and zest for culinary experiences, while supporting Phoenix Children’s Hospital on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa.

Escape the Labor Day heat and head indoors for the culinary spice of this year’s Phoenix Cooks! More than 3,000 Valley food enthusiasts and home-cooks will converge for opportunities to learn, cook, share, taste, sip, shop and experience the pleasures of the culinary lifestyle. Guests will enjoy delicacies from more than 50 of the Valley’s best chefs and restaurants.

The chef duels and demonstrations will heat up the four cooking stages hosted by Ferguson, GE Monogram, Electrolux, and Sub-Zero Wolf. Safeway will be bringing the backyard indoors with tailgate favorites and must-have snacks for this football season. Perfectly chilled cocktails will be masterfully mixed by Grey Goose and Bombay Sapphire mixologists. Local baristas will be warming up the 2nd Annual Latte Art Throwdown, featuring a Brew Bar with samples from many of Phoenix’s local shops, plus much more! Proceeds benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
